Help a Widow in Need

Dear Friends,

Many widows are left alone, struggling to survive withlittle or no support. Their small pensions barely cover basic needs, and everydaytasks become overwhelming as they age. Lyuba – A Grandmother Carrying a Heavy Burden. At 70 years old, Lyuba has spent her life caring for others. Unable to have children of her own, she adopted a littlegirl and raised her alone. But when her daughter abandoned her own two children, Lyubawas left to raise her grandchildren without any help. Now, her granddaughter has moved away, and she is left withher grandson, who brings her more sorrow than joy. He does not help her, and she struggles daily to survive onher small pension. The burden is heavy, and she often feels forgotten. Our team stepped in to help—cleaning her garden, paintingher windows, installing a much-needed outdoor toilet, and bringing food andcleaning supplies. With tears in her eyes, Lyuba shared how even her own familydoes not come to help. We prayed with her, reminding her that God sees herstruggles and hears her prayers. She was deeply moved, saying it was indescribable to receivekindness from strangers when even her closest loved ones had turned away.
